what planet are you from? and it wasn't even bin laden. i take it you have a sense of humor.don't believe me on bin laden?check out the FBI top ten terrorist most wanted site. the feds do not have any evidence between 9/11 and him. did he support the terrorist actions, yes. if the FBI had any evidence,he would be wanted for those acts. most of you are clueless and believe the media. do the research and think for yourself.

There is no evidence that there was any physical Iraqi involvement in 9/11, certainly none of the hijackers were from Iraq.
However it is known that "Saddam Insane" supported any group who would attack the U.S.A., both by financial contributions and giving supplies.
The Iraq conflict was mainly to get rid of a very unstable dictator and restore some kind of democracy to the Iraqi people.
As well as to enforce the U.N. resolutions against IRAQ for not opening up their research sites and facilities to U.N. Inspection teams when requested.

It wasn't the Iraqis that attacked the US it was an international terrorist organization. I'm sure they new the US would do something though. They just didn't know the US would use a war on terror and supposed WMDs to attack Iraq in their name.

Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Historically, Saddam Hussein had quite a lot of animosity towards Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden, who were the ones who did the attacks on 9/11. It is reasonable to suspect that they did indeed know that there would be retaliation. The military presense in Afghanistan was then used as a foray into Iraq.

NONE of us should be surprised that someone younger is asking this. After all, we are in Iraq, probably all that these kids remember regarding politics. Attached to Iraq, is the constant 911 talk.
Considering that, how can we not expect this type of question? From their point, it is common sence.
Bin Laden is not PROVEN to be involved in 911. His FBI file, mentions NOTHING about 911. The few suspects we can directly link are from Saudi Arabia).
*Truth is we had been in Iraq for YEARS before 911. Back in 98 Bin Laden was waging war in a fatwah against USA for being in Iraq and occupying the holyland. Muslims in the middle east, want the middle east to be made of Muslims. Period. Once you introduce foreign bodies into the mix, violence happens. Middle east politics is nothing like Western politics, so it is hard for us to understand.

it was al-qaeda and the reason they did it, i believe, is because america believes it can police the world just because we are the most powerful country. not only that but our leaders, since the world wars, have taken on a much larger role in the world and because of that we have become a fat arrogant country that believes nothing could ever touch us. i truly believe they hit two of the most widely known buildings that were in the heart of the greatest city in the world to show americans and the world alike that we are not invincible.

Well, the others answered your question. But you'd probably want to know that even though Sadam Hussein was most likely part of 9/11, there is overwhelming evidence that he supported Al Quaida.
They didn't think we'd retaliate...We did!
God Bless America!
