The focus of the Church is on the Eucharist. It is the most important of all the sacraments, and the other sacraments "flow off of it like rivulets".
It is the "Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity" of Jesus Christ as it was mentioned in the Council of Trent. the centerpoint of every Church, is the tabernacle, the place where Jesus is present. And, with each mass, the Last Supper is not only remembered but re-lived, not as a somber ocasion but as a feast were everybody is invited.
Baptism, Commuunion, Confirmation, Anointing of the sick, and Burial are the other sacrametns.

If you would like to learn on your own, I would highly recommend you read from the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This book contains the teachings of the Church: what Catholics believe and why.

To become Catholic, you must go to a priest, repent of your sins and be baptised in the name of the Holy Trinity, then speak to him about RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) to be educated and confirmed in the Catholic faith.

before baed you could say the Our Father, Our mother, Hail Mary, or just make up a prayer as you go along like Heaveanly Father I ask.... before meals the most common one said that I hear : Blessed our Lord and these thy gifts which we are about to receive from thy bounty, through Christ, Our Lord. Amen Unless your with a priest they might make a prayer up saying like: Heavenly Father we thank you for the food on this day ...........

first you must believe in a monotheistic god and then you cant even talk to that god without going through the priest which i think is crap anyway. you shouldn't have to go through someone to talk to a deity
