Sounds like a sinus infection to me. If you don't have sick symptoms, you probably will when you wake up.
Put a humidifier on with some vapor mist in it. That might help clear it up a bit. Might also work to take an antihistamine, put Vicks vapor rub on your neck, maybe chest and keep them warm and try to breathe in menthol vapors a bit, maybe with a steaming bowl of water near your nose for a little while. Take a tylenol can help too, but be careful of doses with the anithistamines.
If NONE of this helps, go to a doctor. There are rare conditions that can mimic a head cold or allergies that can cause serious problems. They ARE rare, so not to be worried about unless the persist beyond your attempts to treat them.
Best thing of all. Drink plenty of healthy fluids like water and juice and get a lot of rest. Your immunity could be weakened by stress and/or fatigue, so resting might give you the boost you need to fight it more effectively.
Get well soon and good luck.
BTW, anyone can get allergies at any point in their life. Even if you didn't have any for 30 years, you can still develop them now. Just a possibility to consider.

It sounds like sinus pressure. I usually get it around allergy season or when my allergies flare up throughout the year. I've actually had it on and off since april. I usually get pressure btwn the eyes, upper cheeks under my eyes and sometimes towards the back of my head (tension headaches too)
If it really bothers you and you still aren't sure, see a doc and you might get prescribed allergy meds like benedryl or something similar.
Good luck and hope you feel better.

if you are in a drier climate than you are used to, or work around, live around certain chemicals, your sinuses may be drying out. This can cause sinus pressure, bloody noses, sore throat, and/or a general inflammation of the sinuses called sinusitis. A simple saline solution inhaled through each nostril should subdue any further symptoms (if that is the problem).

You could be developing allergies or sinus problems. Try taking an over the counter medication for this and see if you get any relief.

See a doctor. No one can help you over the internet, even a real MD would want to see you in-person and get a medical history.
