We gave the groomsmen clear glass mugs with their name etched in it. For my bridesmaids I went and got different things that each one liked, example; candles, makeup bags, picture frames, it really depends on their personality and what they would like.

Engraved cuff links, money clips, flasks, pocket watches, beer mugs, and lighters (with a cigar of course) have all been popular in my friends' weddings. I've also seen boxed shaving kits which do come in handy and give a great shave (you'd be surprised) but I am not sure how excited they get about them...

For bride's maids...My aunt and uncle got matching jewelry for each of the women in their wedding and presented them to the bride's maids in a small wooden jewelry box which I still use today. Other ideas might be totes with their names embroidered in the side to carry everything-maybe include some "getting ready goodies". I have also heard of giving engraved compact mirrors for purses.

Congrats on your wedding!

We gave our groomsmen ace of spades cuff links because they all play poker together. We asked them to wear them on our wedding day.

We gave our bridesmaids (who were my cousins) their earrings and an engraved keyring which had the nicknames I have from them on it. For the younger bridesmaid I gave her an engraved jewellery box.

groomsmen if they smoke, get them perzonalized Zippos with thier name on one side and your wedding date on the other, if they dont smoke, Ive seen really nice wallets givin out, mens braclets for about 150 a peice, money clips which aint the best gift, as for women the Zippos work in thier favor to if they smoke, but get the thiner ladies ones, if they dont. bracelets, anklets, gaurdian angel necklace pendants, silk scarves, and lingerie are the gifts ive seen the most givin out

If the groomsmen are sports fans, get them personalized jerseys from their favorite team. I got mine the jerseys of their favorite team with their favorite player's number and their last name on the back. Any online shop will customize a jersey of your choice of any team and any number and any name you want.

Sure beats the overdone cuff links, engraved whiskey flasks or beer mugs.

We're not doing tuxes at our wedding...something I promised my fiance when we first started talking about marriage (okay, I'm ready for all the thumbs-downs from wedding traditionalists or people who think that's tacky...).

Anyway, we're probably going to give our groomsmen ties to wear at the wedding. They're all pretty laid back guys, so they won't feel like we're trying to "dress them." It will be one less thing for them to have to think about.

For our men we paid for part of their tuxes and then gave them personalized beer mugs with their names. They all love beer, so we figured this was the best for them.

For the girls we gave them earrings to wear with their dresses, flip flops for the dance portion, garters with a monogram charm sewn on and beer mugs once again.
