would God move you in a dream to encourage you to ask Jesus into your heart? or is this not something that Christians believe is possible? i know Catholics believe in "signs", but do protestant/evangelical Christians?

i have had dreams that come true all my life. i never knew about religion until i was 30 and started reading about religion because a mans voice started telling me messages to take to governments and i felt i needed to know where this voice was coming from. my dreams have changed my life. i do not follow mans religions i follow Gods laws because i see no religions who forgive or love their neighbors. i believe God allows us to have dreams so we can come closer to God. i was told in a dream that "Christ shall return when there are 2 suns in the sky" so i believe Christ did rise and is going to return but all of my other dreams point towards following Gods laws. i am not perfect, who is? but we can all be good human beings. try writing down your dreams for a few months and also write down significant events that come into your life. make some comparisons. peace and blessings

Evangelical Christians....I happen to be one...of course we believe in signs. It is wonderful that God has spoken to you in a dream.
Jesus Christ is wonderful.
Jews, Muslims, and Jehovah's Witnesses are among those who say Jesus Christ isn't God in the flesh.
But we know better!

God can do something, yet what i've got come to settle for is that God bargains with the present and destiny. If existence grew to become right into a parade, that area of the parade is already exceeded. So i attempt to learn from regardless of happens and take a glance at to react otherwise if the comparable type of factor befell later.

If you see God as answering only to Christians or for that matter only to one particular subsegment of security then that God cannot be a real God. IMO, a real God loves what he/she/it has created and loves everything equally be it an ant or a bluewhale.
So try to know God but don't think that you know who God is coz that is incomprehensible to the human mind even after years of dwelling on the subject.
Dreams allow you to explore much more than you can in real life. But don't allow it to change you for the worse. Signs are there everywhere and not only in dreams. But don't rely on something external to change you. Instead control your change by changing yourself internally so that everything turns out to be good coz changing due to external signs may change you in any direction...

I believe in the power of God...why not , God may reveal Himslef through Jesus Christ in our dream. Actually this happend to my own grandmother, she used to be a very faithful follower in her old religion.then one day, she dreamt that Jesus spoke to her in her dreams asking to throw all the statues in her room because they are a sign of idolatry and that God is a jealous God.........so with that, she woke up the next say and did as what she saw in her dreams.....and this is how she started this ministry where she id now.........and all happened because of her dreams..all in the will of the Lord!!!

Yes, I believe in prophetic dreams. My dear friend had a dream while he was married to his ex wife. In his dream they were at a friends house when suddenly a white dog attacked her. Two days later events happened just like in his dream. Jesus gives us signs all of the time. It's called a gut feeling or intuition. When you learn to tap into it good things can happen.

i'm a christian and i believe God sends us many signs that we can't even see, or at least question, God sent me a beautiful sign one day that just lifted all the worries off my chest, i was thrilled. but i'm not entirely sure if would actually ASK you to be a believer. but God does use dreams.

**notice how all the atheists are giving the believers thumbs down

If God could use your reality and the fabric of time to make you believe, using a dream for that purpose seems sort of half-assed on his part, don't you think? Dreams could easily be misinterpreted, if they mean anything at all, and are often partly or wholly forgotten.

yes, the Bible is full of times when God gave believers and unbelievers dreams to speak a message to them. God says that He will pour out His spirit on all flesh and that people will have visions and dreams.

God can do this work in believers and unbelievers- it is up to the receiver how they will use it.
