Ammonium hydroxide is not soluble in benzene. (it is a polar salt.) The other chemical is too vague a formula, it could be some sort of alkane alkene or less likely alkyne. It could be an ether, aldehyde, ketone, epoxide etc. etc. Most of those chemicals are also polar chemicals and are more likely soluble in a polar solvent, such as water, and not apolar benzene.

Soluble in what? Ca(OH)2 is marginally soluble in water.
