Remember- salvation is between them and God- you are just called to be a part of the process. Maybe all your job here is to plant the seed and live an example for them. It is a little prideful to think that this is all YOUR job. I've been a Christian for over 30 years, and I can tell you that sometimes we are our own worst enemy when it comes to evangelizing friends and family. "Coming under the attack of the enemy" is Christian code for 'things are not going well for me right now- it must be Satan's fault because nothing bad is supposed to happen to me and this is easier than trying to fix things.' We were NEVER promised an easy life, or that our prayers would be answered how we wish, or that we would succeed in everything. About the only promise we have is that Jesus loves us and that everything will eventually turn out good. Why do things go bad when you start to pray? Because your perception of what is supposed to happen changes. Things are supposed to go a certain way, but they rarely do. Every little stumbling block that occurs from sheer normal life becomes a big spiritual issue- we see these as attacks or failures rather than the usual nuisances of everyday life.

You know that no matter how bad things are around you, you are great. You are a beautiful daughter of Heavenly Father. He loves you so much. I just had a daughter two weeks ago. I could spend all day just staring at her. There is nothing I wouldn't do for her. That is how Heavenly Father feels about you! He loves you so much that He sent His son, Jesus Christ. When Christ was here he not only made it so everybody will resurrect, paid for everybodys sins but He felt every heartache, desease and dificulty each of us feel. I believe He saw you and me individually and willingly took on our sins and our hardships. He knows how you feel and you are not alone. Pray to him. Read his word. Take his Yoke upon you...or in other words start living all the commandments and serving others and your heart will be lifted up. "Let not your heart be troubled" They love you. I do too. If you need Imediate help call the LDS missionaries, they will come give you a blessing. I was a missionary for 2 years and helped lots of people.

Sadness happens to all of us sometimes. You don't say why your heart is breaking but time does heal all wounds, even those of the heart. Give it time. Find things to do that will make you happy. Remember what Jesus said " I will never leave you or forsake you" also "When God closes a door, he always opens a window." whatever happened it happened for a reason. We don't know all of God's reasons but we have to trust him that it was for a good reason so ask him to help you accept what has happened and to help you over your sadness. His line is never busy. Talk to him now.

Dear for24bid,
There is a passage in Peter (can't remember the exact passage and version of the Bible but it says):
You can cast the whole weight of your anxiety upon Him because you are His personal concern. (It's a great verse because i know sometimes things in life get so heavy and while God does not promise that we will always understand everything that happens in life- He promises that He will care and He will help us if we place our trust in Him, and that there is not a heart or problem that He can not fix).
I'm really sorry to hear about your sorrow. If i can lend a caring ear- feel free to email me.
Here's my prayer for you:
Heavenly Father, please help this young lady. Lord, her heart is filled with sadness and i know that you understand what it means to be disappointed, even betrayed by people you love. Lord, i pray that whatever it is that is hurting her that you will comfort her- and allow her to know your Love. In Jesus Name... Amen.
Kindly,
Nickster

God dwells in the praises of His people. If you are not one of "His people" yet, tell Him that you would like to be one of "His people" and to show you the Way. (John 14:6)
Regardless of how badly you feel, thank God for the situation. I know that this really does not make sense initially but trust me that it makes a difference. God is able to take ANY situation and make something good come out of it.
There was a couple that went to a local pastor for counsel one time. Their daughter was in a mental institution. He counseled them to go home and thank God for the situation. They were astounded that he would have such nerve to suggest something so absurd. But he continued to explain how important it is to thank God in everything, giving them scriptures and explanations. After some time had gone by, they finally agreed to do as he asked them to do.
They went home and they continually thanked God that their daughter was in a mental institution. In about a week's time, they were back in the pastor's office, crying tears of joy, telling him that their daughter was pronounced totally well and released from the institution.
I took that story to heart and it has been instrumental in a number of my own miracles that God has given to me.
We do not have to FEEL thankful initially. When we do what is right, the feeling will eventually come if we will continue to persevere and not give up.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Hebrews 10:36 (King James Version)
I will be praying for you.

Hello for24bidden,
fear not and let your heart not be burdened...
One day the devil decided to have a yard sale.
He put his favorite tools of evil on sale:
Greed,
Hatred,
War,
Vanity,
Violence,
Deception...
...a foolish man was there and saw all that was for sale.
But then he noticed that far off in the corner was a pedestal with an old worn wooden wedge on it. He asked the devil about the wedge, and "was it for sale too?"
The devil said no, never!
He explained to the man that it was the only tool that he really needed. All the rest was expendable.
With the "Wedge of Discouragement" he could find his way into the hearts of the discouraged and weak. And he could put the wedge of enmity between brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, and even between men and their God.
All he needed was a wedge to make an opening and then he could do the rest.
Don't let the Devil use the "Wedge of Discouragement" on you.
Pray and know that God is with you even till the end of time.
Your pain is his pain. He never forgets you and all he asks is for you to keep your faith alive and be strong during your trials and tribulations. I will pray for you.

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Isaiah 53:5
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
Psalm 148
Praise to the LORD from Creation
Praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD from the heavens;
Praise Him in the heights!
Praise Him, all His angels;
Praise Him, all His hosts!
Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all you stars of light!
Praise Him, you heavens of heavens,
And you waters above the heavens!
Let them praise the name of the LORD,
For He commanded and they were created.
He also established them forever and ever;
He made a decree which shall not pass away.
Praise the LORD from the earth,
You great sea creatures and all the depths;
Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
Mountains and all hills;
Fruitful trees and all cedars;
Beasts and all cattle;
Creeping things and flying fowl;
Kings of the earth and all peoples;
Princes and all judges of the earth;
Both young men and maidens;
Old men and children.
Let them praise the name of the LORD,
For His name alone is exalted;
His glory is above the earth and heaven.
And He has exalted the horn of His people,
The praise of all His saints—
Of the children of Israel,
A people near to Him.
Praise the LORD!

Jesus Christ love is sufficient for you.
Don't be sad, it will lead to anger, then hatred and lose of faith.
Whenever I am sad, I will tell to my self not to be and live life. It is always around us, can you be sad all the time? Sometimes it is good to lose. It is my wisdom.
I always thank Him of the day He gave me. That means it is a blessed day. Good or Bad. Those days, I cursed Him.
