I have received an e-mail from lottolor202@aim telling me that I have wan a big sum of money. It explained that Lotto Lor it is an international lottery and that they randomly select the addresses from the World Wide Web site trough computers draw system and extract from over 820,000 companies and personal e-mail addresses.
It also sat that my e-mail has been chosen and the serial number attached drew the winning number in Lotto 6/49 on 3 November 2007.
I have received same type of emails before and I will always ignore them, but today I have checked online in to the Lotto 6/49 and it shows indeed that the number that has wan (8, 23, 33, 40, 46, 49 Bonus 37) it is the number from the email that I have received.
If there is anyone else that has received the same e-mails please advice me.
Thanks a lot for your help.
Have a good one.
Elena

It is a scam. The only way to win is to actually purchase a ticket yourself. Of course they chose those numbers because they went to the site then used the numbers to scam you with.

Emails from anyone you don't know is either a scam, phisher or both. If you have ever put your email on a site that was not secure, they phished your email address and will now continue to bombard you with crap.

Sound like a hell of a deal to me. Seems like every day or so I see some of my friends walking around with a big wad of money and when I ask them where they got it they look at me kind of sheepish and tell me some one send them the money for winning a lottery that they hadn`t even entered. They usually offer me some of the money but I don`t never accept it because I just wouldn`t feel good about it. Dog gone it I wish I wasn`t that way.

Scam. You can't win a lottery you've never entered. I work at a bank, and I see similar scams ALL the time. They'll screw you over so fast you won't know what hit you. Stay away.

It's a scam, scam, scam. They want money from you or they want banking information from you. Ignore them, delete them, curse their lying behinds to hell, but don't answer. In fact, it's best to never even open them since some of them have been known to have keylogger worms on them.

people don't just give **** away, good rule to go by is that if it sounds too good to be true, it is. Even sometimes if it just sounds ok or cool it's probably a scam too. The internet is a ckuffed up place.
