All paints are emulsions...That being said, what type of area are you painting? A moisture cure urethane would be best, as it uses ambient moisture from the environment to cure. Although you wouldn't want to paint a bathroom with something that can also be used for secondary containment in nuclear facilities. Stick with higher gloss waterborne paints. They even make a great single component water-based epoxy. The higher humidity will not be as harsh to this type of product. The cure time will be much longer, and you still need to follow the products recommendation on maximum humidity, during the drying period. Sherwin Willams, ICI, Porter Paints, PPG, and Akzo Nobel all have some very good products all along those lines, go talk to one of them and stay away from the home centers!

Humidity will prevent the paint drying but if you use extra heat and ventilation this can be overcome

NO.NO.NO. The paint will run and run.The area has to be dry.Any condensation will make the walls sweat and NO paint will dry.Gloss paint can turn whit if affected by damp conditions.
