So if God is really an all-powerful entity, how did satan rebel against him? Wouldn't this "all knowing" God realize that was going to happen?

The argument against what you are saying is that God gave us free will and that He knows all along everything that will happen. However, my counter argument against that is delving slightly into philosophical questions. If God knows everything that is going to happen, doesn't that mean everything we are going to do predetermined? That kind of defeats the whole idea of free will. If God knows what we are going to do, that pretty much means that we are going to do it no matter what. That eliminates the possibility that God is omniscient, that we have free will, or that God even exists. (I'm going with the last one)

I for one am glad god did not use his power to (1) micro manage Satan like a little robot (2) rub out Satan the minute he rebelled or (3) knowing what would happen, refuse to go through with creation.

Why? (1) _I_ don't want to be micro-managed (2) I don't want god to give up on me if I choose to rebel (3) if god went with a different world situation I wouldn't be here.

We are not just some hypothetical exercise in sophistry, but people god loves dearly. He loves me enough that even though he knew Satan and people would rebel, he didn't chuck it and go with a "better" world without us [and me]. Instead of dealing with us in raw power, he deals with us in mercy -- God's own son defeated the curse of our rebellion and took on the punishment of justice that all demand. God choosing a death on the cross for himself instead of going on without us amazes me. So, rebellion is not the last word. God's love is ultimate - it is mercy that turns a rebel into a child of god.

God has created, is running, and will destroy the Universe. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe. God was, is, will be everywhere, God was never Created and will never die / be destroyed. God is beyond Life and Death. All religions of world teach human way to get close to God. You give your Best, God will give thy Best. Ask God for help and forgive, God will help and forgive you. Pray; Worship and Thank God for everything. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

Yes, he did know it was happening. We all rebel against God when we sin, and He is aware of it. I believe He allowed this to happen for a reason--to show how invincible He is. For example, when Lazarus died, Jesus waited until he was good and dead. He then performed a miracle, raising Lazarus from the dead in presence of many witnesses-Why? He wanted show how powerful God was. The same is true for God allowing Satan to rebel. He wanted to show all how powerful he is and to give a warning--the same thing will happen to you, so do not get any ideas.

God can know all things but chooses not to do so, otherwise we might not exist. God asks Satan what he was doing in the book of Job and Satan answers, roving about in the earth, and then God asks him about Job.n If God already knew all this, why would he even ask? When Abraham was about to sacrifice Isaac and God stopped him, why did then God say; Now I do know that you are a God fearing man? Shouldn't God have already known this? Why did he need to ask?

Yeah obviously, I mean Christians always claim that their God creates everything with a purpose, without satan god would be nothing...at least if you think the bible is a real story. Anyone with an IQ over 5 knows that it's pure mythology.

God gave free will. even with free will he still knows what will happen. but think if there would be no free will, we all would be like some robots because we couldn't make any decisions ...
