They're the same age, and they've been together since they were 5 weeks old, but they're not from the same litter. They play and wrestle together, and they get really jealous when one is spending time with me. But when they're together, they cuddle, and lick each others' ears and butts and whatever else. I don't really care if they're lesbians or sisters, or even both, because the three of us have so much love! I was just curious.

cats come from litters of two or more. they depend on each other. that's how they learn by watching their siblings.enjoy their antics for they dint stay little .they sound adorable. i have one cat .his name is BP. .He adopted me when I stopped to get gas. he wasn't even 6 weeks old,hes 3yrs old now and thinks hes king of my castle.

They're just buddies. Cats (and even dogs) groom each other, and that includes licking the butt. Cats learn a lot from scents, and sniffing the other animal is how they get cues about what's going on.

Cats always clean each other's behinds. This is normal. Cat's aren't like humans where they have the possibility to be attracted to the same sex. Chances are they act like sister's and consider each other friends and they like to take care of each other!

Your cats are not lesbians. Animals do not have same sex relationships. They have chosen to be a family and they are just close like siblings. As far as I know, only humans choose homosexual behavior. That is perhaps one more reason to say that homosexual behavior is not healthy.
Enjoy your kitties, they are such a gift!! My husband doesn't want any now that out kids are grown and gone. I really want 2 kitties for fun!
