I have a friend that has a 17 month old little boy. Well he only has 4 teeth, & only says mama, & dada..doesnt even baby talk! I've said something to her about it, but she blows it off...I'm not sure that it's normal! Maybe it's just me though! I would love to know what you guys think! THANKS!!

Yes, it sounds normal. Children develop at different rates.

She probably had the same concerns and already got the answer from her doctor that it is perfectly normal. Out of my 4, one got teeth at 4 months and another didn't get them until 15 months.

is this a stubborn child?
is it only around adults or dose it play with children?
if it is only around adults and stubborn it may not talk till the words sound right, but if the child dose not play also there may be issues that need to be addressed.
