nope but i've had a couple of bridesmaid who have been kicked out.

Of course not. Look, you should know your friend well enough if you pick her to be maid of honour and know if she'd do a good job or not. If you're obliged to have someone because it's a relative and you think she won't be good just give her a minor role and don't expect too much and choose someone more reliable to take a more active role.

My MOH wasn't bad. She was just very young. She had never even been to a wedding before and she didn't know what to do.
She was my MOH because my best friend nor my sister could make it to my wedding which was held in my husband's home state.
She's a wonderful person though and if I had to do it over again under the same circumstances, I'd still have her.

We had a destination wedding so no bridesmaids at all.Otherwise I had chosen my sis as a maid of honor,because I know she would´ve been great!

No, thankfully my friend is very level headed and was nothing but a big help. I think we chose the right person, there was never any doubt in my mind that she was the right person to ask.
