Best type of alcohol for me to drink?

I'm a lightweight drinker first off. I don't mind getting CRUNK though. But I dont like anything that tastes like alcohol. I can drink screwdrivers if the cup is like 3/4s orange juice and a quarter vodka. I can drink Smirnoff ice, but theyre too sweet and get me sick. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I could drink to get me drunk but that doesnt taste too strongly of alchohol?

When I said crunk I was joking first off. I just would like to be able to drink with my friends and enjoy myself.

Those of you who said tequila and stuff like that . . . I dont think you understand that I DONT like the way alcohol tastes.
I dont like beer or banana flavored stuff either

If you like screwdrivers, try out orange juliuses-- they're like icy, heaven-sent versions of the above. In general, if you don't like the taste of alcohol, go for vodka mixes or drinks with Schnapps. Both vodka and Schnapps have alcohol tastes that are easy to mask.

Avoid at all costs tequila drinks-- tequila, IMO, has a very strong flavor.

And, as you might know, if you're a lightweight AVOID the Long Island Iced Teas. There is no tea in a Long Island Iced Tea.

My final advice? Low-sugared daquiris, orange juliuses, and pomegranatetinis/appletinis/chocolatinis.

I'm not a big drinker, never have been. I have never had a problem being the designated driver.

I often prefer rum drinks. I like Daiquari's - strawberry :). I don't like Midori Melon liquour becuase its too sweet. Also, make sure you use a shotglass so you only put about 1 oz of liquor in your drink. If it's still too strong, use less.

Pina Colada.... coconut, & pineapple flavors.... add some strawberry puree in the bottom of the cup and it's a lava flow. I don't think they're too sweet.

I also like tequila sunrises - tequila with oj and a touch of grenadine on top.

You may need to try some different liquors and mixers to fidnout what you like, or tolerate whichever the case may be.

If you like screwdrivers you'd probably like malibu or c. morgan's flavored rums (like coconut, pinapple) you can mix a shot or two with some OJ or a combo of OJ and pineapple juice. Not too sweet but it tastes good and does the trick! They aren't very potent either, so you shouldn't be able to taste the liquor. Or you could try Arbor mist wines, they are really cheap and fruity and don't taste like alcohol whatsoever!

There are a number of drinks that can give you the full effect of alcohol, without the taste....try a Long Island Iced Tea, or if you don't want something quite so strong, try a Seabreeze (vodka and cranberry juice)....Generally, the trick is, the higher quality of alcohol you drink, the milder the taste. (and the hangover isn't as bad).

You need something with Vodka then. Vodka was used during Prohibition days because it has little to no taste or smell. Mix it with juice and you have a Cran/Vodka or a OJ/Vodka or with Red Bull for Bull Vodka.
You might also try Cosmopolitans as they are vodka and juice with sweet/sour. Or try an apple martini.
All are fruity and hardly taste a thing.

Home made long island ice tea's made from premium tops shelf liquors. Taste great and gets you there fast. Replace the triple sec with Cointreau.

If you have more time, a sweet tooth and a blender I suggest:

3oz of premium vodka
2oz of Kahlua
3oz of Baileys
2 big scoops (about a cup and a half) of premium vanilla ice cream
1 healthy squeeze of Hershey's syrup.
1-2 cups of milk

Yes, it is sweet. But very delicious and also gets you and a friend there quickly.

your cutting it fine there then...mmm ever tried baileys or irish cream? its pretty gd, i dnt add the milk though. im guessing chick drinks like vodka cruisers and udls wud b 2 sweet 4 u then aswel... hav u had smirnoff double blacks? there generally the best vodka drink u can have, pulse is also similar. Only thing i can thnk of after that is fruit punch, which is pretty much the same thng as ur orange juice thng lol

Try drinking an Early Burn with Goldschlager and orange juice.
You may want to check with the club to make sure they stock it and price. Goldschlager can be pricey. Goldschlager is a sweet cinnamon schnaps with gold flakes. If you like cinnamon but not the taste of most alcohol you will love an EARLY BURN.
