9 years is under 10. But 17 year old girls are in lala land. They need to have at least gone out and partied after 21 for a few years. I think 23-25 is the age when females should be stopping the party mode, unless that is their lifestyle. If she's 23 and you're 32, then when she's 25, you'll be 34. And when she's 27, you'll be 36. And when she's 29, you'll be 38. I hope you are healthy. If you eat clean and are clean, then you've got an edge on most men who are dirty and don't take care of themselves.

i think the whole age question depends on the mental age than the physical age. 9 years is fine when you're both a bit older...like late 20s onwards. At 17, i'd say 9 years is a bit too much of an age gap...

she is the legal age, my fiance and i have a 6yr age difference, i started seeing him when i was 17 and he was 23...we did split for 9months and we both started dating people closer to our own age and we were miserable. We got back together and we couldnt get along any better, age doesnt matter. As long as you both love each other what difference does it make? Its only a number at the end of the day.

I would wait until she's 18 for legal reasons, but otherwise I don't think age should be an issue. If two people like one another, have things in common, are interested in each other, etc. then why shouldn't they go out together?

Who gives a monkeys about age difference and what people think if she makes you happy you stick with her after all it is your life and the others probrably wish they had a girl friend 9 years younger than them. I once had one 19 years younger she was 32 and I was 51

As long as the two of you don't do anything illegal then you should be fine. Like I have said before age is only the number of birthdays you have had. It's your mental age that counts, so if she acts older than her age then fine. Don't dump her unless it's a problem.

how did u not know her age? did u not ask her before u started going out with her? thats wat i would have done! anywho, ur what 26 years old and shes 17. in my mind, i dont agree with a 17 year old going out with a bloke over the age of 21. sorry! but anyway, if u wanna stay with her then stay. u shuldnt care about the age if its HER u care about. however, if u dont feel comfortable in goin out with a person 9 years ur junior, then stop the whole thing. ur choice
Good Luck!
