Is it possible that Jesus Christ had a wife and one or more children?
Yes, it's possible (my view today).
There's a lot about Jesus' life which has been left out of the New Testament of the Bible.

See how Christians don't answer the question but just scream ("Not true! No evidence!") Although many will reject the proposal I don't see how (if true) it would in any way undermine the Christian message. That Jesus is son of God and saviour. If God/Jesus were such advocates of the holy act of marriage then why not partake? It's not sinful or wrong! I suppose Jesus having children would raise questions about his descendants retaining an element of Godness/divinity about them, although if God were against this then surely he would just ensure his offspring were 100% human, just like his wife would be. He can do anything afterall. personally I find it entirely plausible that Jesus could have married. The Bible don't mention it, but then again it doesn't say a lot about what Jesus did with his life during the middle years. Some christian actaully belive there IS evidence of thi sin the Bible and some feel that the wedding he attended may have been his own, with Mary Magdelaine being his wife. Hope this helps

The Book of Mary wasnt even written by Mary. It was written 100s of years later, and is not the inspired Word of God. Why not? it doesnt add up and it has not been validated by Jesus. Same with the Book of Thomas. Jesus never married, even though he created the institution of marriage. There are no descendents. the Da Vinci code is very entertaining, but it isnt true. The Last Supper wasnt painted at the time of Christ, buy many many years later, it is a made up piece of artwork, very nice, but probably does not reflect the actual supper.

I read The Da Vinci Code, and I know (and so does the author, too) that the "history" in that book is invented for the sake of a really good story line.
That said, I think it's almost a certainty that Jesus had both a wife and kids. It would have been most unusual in first-century Jewish culture for a 30-year-old man to be childless and unmarried. Jesus was "fully man" and, therefore, a creature of the culture into which he was born.

Fiction writers have a licence to write anything and get away with it!
Dan Brown has taken so much pain to establish that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene! But has not disclosed when and where this took place!
The Old Testament gives the history of early times. The New Testament starts from Jesus preaching the people.
The gap from his birth to his 30 years is a big lacuna in a scripture.
Every child born to a woman has to die one day and get resurrected on the Day of Judgement!
Hence, Jesus would come back to earth , marry , beget children, perform Haj and die.Tht is what Muslims believe..
They phoo, phoo this marriage theory.

NO! The Da Vinci Code was a book written by a person from THIS century! What kind of evidence could he have?! People just start making up stories whenever they have the chance!

No. Jesus do not have wife when he was a man. Those comments are called or considered Anti Christ who are against Jesus Christ. May God forgive them for they do not know what they are saying.
I have read the Da Vinci Code and have understood it clearly. It is just a novel designed for the satisfaction of the readers and it was taken to the movies for the satisfaction of the viewers. There is no truth about it.
Can you understand what is novel story? It is a fiction which means it came from the own mind of the author. OK?

Yes I read both books. Angels and Demons you may enjoy more, I did.
I follow a book called " The Book of Urantia " This is a channeled book from the Angels. It says that there was a Universal Law that forbid Jesus from doing anything or writing anything that would leave evidence on his part that he was on earth. Why I don't know but I don't believe that Jesus has a wife or Children. There is no blood line of Jesus. Jesus was conceived by Mary and Joseph was only a parenting father.
I think the conclusion is yours, I made my decision about the book. Fun to read but that is all.

Well the Davinci Code is Fiction. I have however heard that the Royal Families of Europe make claims to be the descendants of your Jesus. While i find that extremely hard to believe, I do know that most of the Royal Families in Europe are related. Also a good portion of those on top here in America can trace lineage to European Royalty.

No that is a work of fiction although well written. His "evidence" is manufactured and relies heavily on gnostic manuscripts which were written centuries after the death of Christ and are riddled with inaccuracies. Even with this "source material" he still had to reconstruct sentences to fit his story. All part of fiction. And Dan never claimed to have written an historical novel.

thats not stated in the Bible which means thats not true! The Bible is way better than the Da Vinci code.,
Da Vinci Code is made just to confuse people, but if you have a strong foundation of faith, you'll never be confused
