I for one, am educated enough to know that not only scientifically, but geologically, that this planet is 4.5 billion years old, and not as the bible suggests, 6 or7 thousand years old. if you believe a bible, your mentality sheers off, and then goes down.hill.
Fossil records show, (whether you want to believe it or not) that the dinosaurs lived 65,000,000 million years ago, and not a few hundred years ago. They also show the bones discovered recently, are thousands of years old, and incidentally, not hidden by Satan, as reported. What is wrong with this picture???
Denial is unrealistic, and not only that, it makes christians look uneducated,.

There is an important area -- cultural evolution. Ideas move faster than genes. As atheists tend to be better educated, they have an advantage, but as there is no atheist community the advantage is not fixed in the culture.

Well, they certainly don't have anything holding them back from evolving socially, politically, scientifically, or emotionally.... But I doubt anyone could reasonably site an actual study of the evolution of Atheists over the course of human history to make comparisons.

NO....a specie has no control of the evolution process, the mechanism is solely dependent on natural selection + mutation....However, if all atheists decided to reproduce more offspring than non-atheists, then the rate of mutations will also increase, though it's not significant enough to make any comparable changes between the two.

Do you mean in the area of cognitive processes? How would ones current hypothesis about life's origins effect biological mechanisms of the brain?

Well one has to wonder how Atheists are able to see through obvious delusions, whereas non-Atheists lack this very ability.
