i be outside shopping and a feeling i get like the baby is crying and when i call my home i can hear him crying in the background and that only happen once and a while but majority of the times i am right is that a mommy thing

For me it is. My kids are 22, 20 and almsot 17 and I know when they need a call still.
I think it is a mommy thing.

are you a working mom? If yes, I suggest you stay for at least two-three days with you sitter, all you have to do is observe how your sitter carries and feed the baby, dont let your son feel you around so he may not sense you only his sitter. In this way somehow, you will know whats wrong. Hope this will help

No, this is normal. My youngest just went to kindergarden and I can be home while she's in school in the middle of the day I'll know if she's unhappy for some reason. It's weird but I kinda like it cause then I connect with her a little more.

Take the baby with you when you go out.
