My face used to do that, and I found out it was my blood pressure....now i'm on meds and it controls it....Have you ever been checked to see how your blood pressure is?

The more comfortable you become with the people around you the more comfortable you will feel about yourself. This is happening most likely because you are new to everything but if you just relax and get to know all the people in your class ((including your teachers)) then you should be fine and not be as self conscious! Just simple conversation will make you more comfortable, like how was your weekend, what are you doing after school. You'll get the hang of it and, your nerves and body will relax and it wont happen as much. If you get this way giving a speech or presentation during school hold a paperclip or penny behind your back and turn it or play with it while presenting, it should take you mind off the fact that you are nervous to be in front of everyone to begin with!! Good luck!!

I used to get really nervous when someone calls on me to read something in class, so I went on here, and people said to take long, deep breaths when the stressful times come and it'll be ok. I wasn't sure if it was going to work or not, but I tried it anyway, and I was surprised to see that when I had to read, my voice was loud and I read everything without my heart pounding or feel my face getting red. So try that and it might work for you too. Good Luck.

Oh my gosh, that happens to me too when I eat! I'm Asian too, so it DOES look really awkward on our type of face. I usually do my make-up everyday for school and church, in which I use that gal primer which is a great moisturizer, Revlon Colorstay as a foundation, and then I highlight (not blush), my cheekbones with any kind of highlight you want. It will help to prevent blotchy patches of red, and keeps your face looking natural. (:

Its all related to hormones.
Pls visit a endocrinologist - they specialize in hormones.
Its anxiety, nervousness ..
My ears get red when I give a presentation in class even infront of 5 people. My heart rate increases and bla bla...
I feel evry1 is looking at me, I feel my checks are hanging of.. etc..yes it happens....and then I got to know I have a hypo-thyroid, I got it from my mom. It has to do with hormones, Im not saying you hv a throid problem, but get advise.

if it's always red, you might have Rosacea. Try Prosacea for the redness. It's around $9 at Walgreens near the Neosporin

Next time you feel your face start getting red, tell yourself to start blushing! Its impossible to make yourself to start blushing so most of the time it helps me to be less embarrassed or red :)!

Well if your face turns red, it'd be pretty cool if you started making a train-like noise that transformed into a long "eeeee" followed by a "what?"

Constantly slap yourself in the face, thereby always having a flushed demeanor. Plus you probably deserve it
