What makes you do those extra things in this time, and why don't you do these things all the time? Are you conditioned?

Salam.. Allah sent everything down in Ramadan it was made before us. It was made for us to use, but not for us to take advantage of just for that month. Allah SWT gave us all things in Ramadan and sent down Adam and Eve in Ramadan as well as the shytan, whom now goes to chains every Ramadan. Its easy question, why just Ramadan then, so are we conditioned?

Us? You mean all of us, or just practicing muslims? Do you know The Ummah is everyone that has to be called and is calling? Those 2 are left here after Muhammed SAW and that is all that is left, those who have to be called and those who call. WE? You mean just muslim people? We are all born in submission so that means everyone even the Pope, right?

I don't participate with websites, if you can't say it from your heart and mind then don't bother. Don't let others speak and think for you inshAllah. That is 2 questions you now lost on because you didn't bother to speak your heart! Khair inshAllah

Salaam Alaykum,
Sadly, I broke my fast. I have a lot of making up to do for that.
You see I smoke cigarettes. I could go without eating, or water from dawn to dusk no problem. This affliction of addiction won. Nobody who knows the importance of Ramadan well enough to know how bad breaking that fast makes you feel...or how good succesfully keeping it makes you feel.
Completing the fast in the month of Ramadan made me feel like I had won an Olympic gold metal..even better! When I couldn't do it was as if I had failed myself and the whole team.
I was broken spiritualy and did not enjoy the festivities of Eid.
Thats good I need to feel like cr*p! YA does not even let you say it. Just a bunch of stars were the word I am looking for I can't write. No. My relationship with Ramadan doesn't change
I smoke smoking will kill me in a terrible way. That is a fact. I
allowed it to ruin my Ramadan but some people will smoke after the fast and even be not on their best behavior the whole rest of the year. I can't speak for anyone else but we are given 30 days to at the very least reflect, pray, and sacrifice for our Creator Allah SWT all that is given to us. Our life itself. It is very important to us to look back on our deeds
and ask for forgiveness. There is even forgiveness Inshallah on those souls for whom could not for whatever reason do it. I disgraced myself and my faith this year. Inshallah not next year. Allah SWT is we believe Compassionate and Merciful
to all who believe. The choice to smoke rather than fast is free will. Every sin we commit is free will. Nobody is breaking our arm to fast or pray with pure intent during Ramadan. So I could have said just NO for two points.
Wasalaam
Peace

Ramadan is a Holy Month. As is Shawal. It is a sad fact that our lives are becoming more and more busy.I suppose it depends on your career or how many children you have,But there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to do every thing we need to do.I think that Ramadan is a time to center ourselves .It is a time that makes us stop and focus on our spirituality. Our spirit needs rejuvenation.Allah Knows whats best for us.He could of commanded us to fast a half of year every year or 3 months out of the year but Allah in all of his wisdom and mercy made it easy for us.Although it seems Like Ramadan is the longest month of the year.I think that Once a year for 30 days truly putting an effort in feeding our spirit is so good for us.It puts our lives in order .Makes us more grateful for things that we take for granted. We should try to do this on a daily Basis ,and sometimes we are very good and we do,But life is so demanding .I wonder sometimes if Allah created Ramadan Just for us,I mean these generations that are living right now.Because after all who needs Ramadan more than us?

No, if ur a muslim and you really care about ur religion then u will not do these things for ramadan only like me I dont do these things only in ramadan, but some people do these things just to waste time during there fast, but me in normal days I still read Quaran and do many good deeds because Im a muslim and I care about my religion.Hope that helps!

Alaykum Salam,

Funny I was just thinking of this the other day. How in Ramamdan we all try to be extra good, read extra books, read the Quran, fast but yet when its over so is all that. The truth is Ramadan is just a lesson from Allah to teach us that if we can do it for a month we can do it for a year inshAllah.
