Salaam Alaykum,
I think I get it. If the old show was life and existence as we see or perceive it as the "old show" and replace it with the
"new" show of our future existence and things to come. We all would want to watch. Some people love Science Fiction,
or dramatizations of the future depicted in scary ways. In real life though they like this for entertainment but if we could see
in a television dramatization of things to come nobody would want to deal with that. That's why so many people ignore the wrath of Allah SWT and what he is capable of. Really terrible things are happening and people blame god. When really all Allah SWT ever said was read and see it's all in here. People get really shaken up by catastrophic events in the news. Like as if life on earth is supposed to be paradise. They get a shake up or an early warning signal and go on about their ways as if nothing happened...unless of course they are in the midst of it. Like say the devastating affects of war..let's say a nuclear holocoust..truly awful but it has already been done twice by the hands of men.
Wasalaam
Peace

The answer is essentially the message of Jesus, who took away the Mosaic Law and replaced it with Grace.
