Why couldn't Jesus have died for God and not as God? Maybe Jesus just simply became one with God? After all he was a spiritualist who taught a path towards oneness with God (not religion).

Instead of theorizing, why not go back to the authority on the subject - the Bible?

"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father."
Philippians 2:5-11

Jesus didnt die as God- He was the atoning sacrifice for the sins of the world in the form of a man. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whosoever believes will have everlasting life. God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through Him."

Is he not celebrated as the son of God? Ihova is God, Jesus is his son.

Aside from this it is also believed out there that the large section of the bible where Jesus seems to disappear for a few years he was actually touring the world.

Someone with friends reaching as far as he would probably be forgiven for thinking his death would outrage the world, maybe enough for his death to be the last violent unjust act of man and the bible simply interpreted his words wrong?

The bible is a book... written by people... and when written was struggling to get people to read. What happens in the modern world when people dont want to hear a story? it is excentuated, enhanced and made more interesting. The Jesus of the bible is undoubtedly not the actual Jesus of the time.

Jesus was not and is not God the Father, He is the Savior of the world. The scriptures are resplendent with proof of this fact. Jesus himself proclaimed that he did only those things that He had seen His Father do. Jesus did not take chatter lightly; He stated that:* 'Every idle word that men shall speak, they will give account thereof in the day of judgement.' Jesus also taught that we should pray to the Father, in His name, but not to Him. When Jesus prayed He prayed to the Father, not to Himself, that would certainly be redundant if not idle words. Now, he died for the sins of the world out of love for us. The atonement was His sacrifice for us because we were not able to perform it ourselves in as much as we are not perfect. We are adopted into his fold upon the conditions of: 1) Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; 2) Repentance; 3) Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; 4) The laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost. Once these ordinances are performed, if we endure to the end, salvation is ours. Christ made that possible and He is, therefore, our Lord and our God because He is the creator of all flesh, but He is not God, the Father of our spirits.

I personally don't think he died as g-d. It was Paul who went around with promising people that everything will happen for them if they convert to believing in Jesus Christ. If you think about it Jesus was a Jew and died a Jew. Basically all people are mostly believing is Judaism, but with the Bible having a few more events than the Torah. The Christians still have 10 commandments given from g-d to the Jewish people which the Christians follow today. The Christians now are pretty much the same as reformed Jews. I dont mean to criticize any religion but im trying only to say it originated from the Jews and everyone is pretty much believing in the same thing.

Yes, Jesus is God. He is one of the trinity. It is difficult to understand trinity and I doubt there is anyone who really can fully understand him. One way that kinda helps understand it is to think of man. We have a body, we have a mind and a spirit. They are 3 distinct parts of a person, but all three are that person. Does that make sense?

It had to be God who died for us because no one else could atone for our sins. No man born from the seed of man (since sin nature is passed down by the seed of man) has the ability to save himself let alone anyone esle. (Hence the virgin birth)
No matter how "one" with God you are, if you are only human, you are sinful and cannot save even yourself.

Jesus chose to become fully man on earth to act as the only perfect sacrifice for sin. God the Father gave His Son to provide a way for man to come back to God after choosing to leave Him for sin.
Now we all have our choice, accept Jesus's sacrifice and reap the benefits, or continue in sin and pay the price.

Well, Actually, The Question You Brought Up Is What Seperates Some Of The Christian Religions. For Example, Catholics Believe The Jesus Was Basically G-d In Man Form, While Jehovah's Witnesses Believe He Was G-d's First Creation, So To Speak. So No One Really Knows For Sure.

God is God and Jesus is His Son. He died to atone for sins because that is what God wanted him to do.
