Will the pharmacy have a record of a prescription I had a couple of years ago? I don't want to have to go to my doctors office and pay for a copy of my medical records just for one prescription name.

BTW I no longer have medical insurance so I can't go back to the doctor, so I'm just gonna get the medicine from Mexico.

yes, pharmacies can print you a list of prescription records. as for not having insurance, i'd suggest other options before buying medicine from mexico that might not be safe.

depending on the type, you can contact many pharmaceutical companies and they can work with you to get free or reduced prescriptions. also, most doctors have tons of samples these days and might be able to help you out.
or, you could try someplace like walmart that offers $4 prescriptions on many drugs.

Pharmacies have to give you the record if you request it. We never charge for such a thing. However, it might only go back 1-2 years.
I have heard awful stories about medicines from Mexico. Also, what you are doing is illegal. Importation of prescription medications without permission from the secretary of HHS is a crime. I've heard of "Viagras" being made in cement mixers and the like.

Boruma is correct in his answer but I also agree with the first respondent. You have to be very careful when buying medications from Mexico. There is no FDA to guarantee the quality control that we have here in the USA.
If you can't afford your prescription medication, explain this to your doctor. Your doctor should be able to give you some samples. If not, then research the company that makes your medication and go to their web site. Most drug companies in the USA offer programs to help people get their medication either free or heavily discounted.

Pharmacies carry the info in their computers for 3 to 5 years or more, and in paper records for 20 years. You should have no trouble.

First of all, be careful about buying medicine from Mexico. You don't really know what you are getting. Your pharmacist may have records back two years. Not sure about that.
