I believe in Thor.

I guess I would be an Athorist, as I don't believe in Thor.

But thunder is the sound made by lightning. Depending on the nature of the lightning and distance of the hearer, it can range from a sharp, loud crack to a long, low rumble. It is produced by a sonic shock wave caused by the rapid expansion of the air surrounding and within a bolt of lightning.

Ahaha...people who don't believe in Thor, right? Good one.

I honestly don't know--I mean, obviously thunder's caused by him driving that chariot of his around and swinging that hammer of his.

Anybody who doesn't get this just needs to open their hearts to the Aesir.

If you meant Atheists, like this:

Air around a bolt of lightning heats and expands, then rapidly cools causing air to collide and thus resulting in the sound of thunder.

If you meant theists:
God did it.
