So why did God create sin?
Hope this makes any sense.

I don't think he "created" sin. I think he gave us free will. Additionally, sin is only typically pleasurable in the short run, but in the long run it creates more pain and suffering.

This is another of the eternal questions of the universe that we still struggle to answer. I suspect, though, that it has something to do with free will, which would be pointless unless we had some choice to make. If there were no sin, we would always do the right thing. But God wanted us to have a choice, to love Him and to follow him because we wanted to, not because it was the only option.

And also, look at Sin in the Bible. It might be fun in the beginning, but often it causes more problems down the road. If you drink, you get hang overs, become an alchoholic, lose everything. Most sin is stuff that might be fun for a minute, but then it catches up to you. Sure, it's ok to drink a little, but all things in moderation. So, there must be temptation to be redemption.

Like many before me have answered: God did not create sin. Everything God created is good.

However, sin infected the human race when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God.

Sin pleasurable...many things considered "sin" is not a sin in and of itself. Many of the pleasurebale "sins" were good gifts from a loving God but Satan took those things and twisted them, taking them from what they were intended as and making them sinful. Sex is a big topic when "sin" is discussed. Sex is not a sin. Great sex is an extremely special gift God gives a man and a woman when they unite as husband and wife. It is intended to be pleasurable, but so much more than that. Satan took what was pleasurable, took away everything else and "who cares about the rest...as long as it's fun?"

Pleasurable...Human nature takes pleasure in some really weird, perverse, and/or horrific stuff. If you allow yourself to get involved in things that really are sinful, you crave more..in quantity as well as quality. Like greed...you can never get enough. That too is Satan's work.

I hope this makes sense too...and I hope it helps.

God did not create Sin. What He did was give us free choice.

His vision for man was that we be peaceful, healthy, humans, that could live in harmony here on His beautiful Earth. But Adam and Eve brought Sin into the human race by disobeying God.

If they would have litsened to God and His Commandment- every person created after Adam & Eve would not have been born into Sin.

So yes, it is natural for us to believe that Sin is pleasurable and Sin is fun, because we are Sinful creatures.
It is not until we give our lives back over to God through Christ Jesus, can we be Saved. Thus creating a new creature within ourselves

It appears you (your Friend) make think sex is a sin but sin is anything that separates from us from God. So you Friend may have some misconceptions about sin. The pleasurable phrase makes me think that some deeper thought is needed on your Friends part. Sex can be a sin but need not be. Thus no one needs to sin. And of course sex or pleasure should be a minor part of the discussion. Sin almost always does not involve sex or pleasure. Usually sin brings pain and suffering not pleasure.

God wants to test our faith. When you refuse sin, it strengthens our resolve against it. Believe it or not, it strengthens our bond with God to face sin, and turn awa from it. The bible says that god will never tempt you past what you can handle. You always have the ability to turn away from sin, and it cannot control you. If you give in to sin, it is of your own choice. There cannot be a world without sin, because it is in our nature to sin.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed god, they were condemned to live and die in a world with sin, rather than the perfect world that they were created in. All of their descendants (the human race) were destined to live in this world as well- so biblically speaking that is the reason.

God created this world. He created us humans and all other beings. That we can see. But the idea of sin is created by us humans. What is sin in one civilization may not be sin in other. For example to eat pig is sin in Islam but not in Christianity.

The idea of sin is invented by some people to control other so I feel.

God did not create sin. He gave us choice because he didn't want us to be robots. With choice came sin because there had to be another option than following God. Anyways, we aren't allowed to sin because he cannot be near sin, and so we wouldn't be able to be with him. The incentive to not sin is that we will spend eternity with him full of pleasure and happiness where here, you could sin and feel good for a few years, and the literally die in spirit, which feels horrible apparently. There you go.

God didn't create sin. It could be argued that satan or Adam/Eve created sin when they chose to disobey God, but not that God created sin. Angels and people were given free will --- to love and obey God or not to. Some of the angels and *all* of the people chose to disobey God, thus introducing sin.

Scripture says that sin is pleasurable for a SEASON. In other words, it asks a *heavy* price for its pleasure. It's like going to see a great movie --- but it costs a million dollars. No movie is that good, no matter how good it may seem for the two hours you're watching it.

God is not the creator of sin nor the author.
Sin or error came into existence when the Law established by God was broken. It was not God breaking the Law but his creation going against what was. Lucifer in my opinion became the first to break the established rules and turned his back on the authority of God in disobedience.
On Earth we have recorded the disobedience of the will of God and call it sin. The decision of free will changed the course of Adam and Eve by disobeying and that error was called sin. When we violate the Laws of the Universe set up by God, we suffer the consequences. It is not God who punishes us but we ourselves because the laws have been preset with consequences for the sin or error of the violation.
We therefore create our own sin, not God.

God didn't create sin, he created evil (hardships, hard times, punishment). God created order and made it pleasurable. Sin has pleasure for a season, but it's end result is death. sin is only pleasurable for a little while, and the consequenses are horendous. sin is only pleasurable because we have something in us called iniquity. Iniquity is the part of us that tells us that what is wrong is right to do. It is our internal "justifier" of sin. It lies to us and we enjoy doing things "our way" for a while... but later on when we realize part of us died because of it and we can't undo what we've done, it is like hell on earth.
