Yes, there is absolutely no problem with you attending the funeral of a Christian friend's relative.
We're all people of the Book, right? So yes, you'd be welcome. Just ask your friend to go over some of the expected behavior with you, first--like communion if they offer it, prayers, and so forth. If you feel moved to pray, go for it. People of different religions from the deceased attend funerals all the time.
It is perfectly fine and appropriate for you to wear your hijab.

No problem if you don't mind the difference and the history between the Christian & Islam. It's all on yourself. I'm sorry for your friend's lost.

Anyone can go to church, as long as you don't disturb the service. Head coverings for women should be fine.

They are welcome at ours, but they are gonna hear about Jesus and him crucified, burried and raised from the dead! They are Gonna hear He is the Only begoten son of God, they are gonna hear about salation by grace thru faith!
All are welcome, rapists, homosexuals, murderers, adulterers, pagans, liars, thieves, etc...
I'd rather see them there than a bunch of sourpuss upturned nose religious people!!
EDIT: Sorry for your friends loss, didn't see the rest of your question. If they don't let you come I'd like to know which Church it is please.
