When an officer asks you for your license and registration, you hand it over to him, no questions asked. Don’t hand him your gun, your bong, your illegal black market baby that you paid cash for or the receipt for the illegal black market baby that you paid cash for or your drug stash.

According to the Gulf Daily News, that’s just what a Bahrainian man did.

The man was pulled over by police during a routine traffic stop. He asked the driver for his license. He pulled it out and a piece of hash was stuck to it. He claimed he had some poo in his back pocket and that he was saving it for later.

The man was arrested and admitted he had the hash-ish but forgot he had it in his wallet. He claims he meant to hide it with his cocaine.

They claim they are. Several years ago, the Police were watching a vehicle, parked illegally, and was reported stolen. A few hours later, an individual walked up, and got into the car. Of course he was arrested immediately. He later admitted to stealing the car because he didn't want to be late to take the Police exam which was being given at the location where he parked the car illegally.
True story, happened in Chicago.

Many years ago I met a guy, 40 something, that had spent 23 years in San Quinton, California State Pen.

According to him 43% of the cons were so stoned when they commited the crime that did not remember it. I have no idea how true that is, but is does not sound unreasonable.

While working in the Bank Equiptment biz there was a story, true, about 3 guys trying to blow open an ATM in a Modular Bank. They used way too much C4. The building was in a rural area in S.C. They got into drainage ditch and lit off the C4. The only thing left standing was the corner of the building that had the Vault, Nite Drop and ATM. They were still secure. When the 1st Sheriff arrived it had been 20 minutes. 1 guy was wander in a daze in the parking area and the other 2 were still down for the count. All were bleeding from the eyes, ears and nose from the concusion of the explosion.

Another guy stole a 3300 lb driveup ATM by dragging it behind his truck. The Police followed the drag marks to his home.
