The problem is that I live in rural Wyoming and the closest store that carries it is over 2 hrs away. Does anyone know a place online that I could get it, that the shipping isn't as much as the food itself? I can afford the food but not if I have to pay twice the amount to get it to me.
Just so you know I'm not asking if it is a good food, I already know it is; just where I can get it at good shipping prices.

Amazon.com isn't bad but still about $20 a bag and petfooddirect.com cost as much for shipping as the food itself over $30.

Shipping costs are KILLER!!!
See if the feed store near you will special order it for you. They get wholesale prices, and deals on shipping, so it might not be as expensive.
Some grocery stores will do special orders too.
Hey, all they can say is no, right?

Canidae has been falsely accused before. Someone brought a baggie of dog food to a testing lab and it was shown to contain acetaminophen (tylenol) which is dangerous to dogs. They claimed it was Canidae. The company keeps samples from EVERY batch. They went through and checked all samples and none was found. Canidae is known for their meticulous records and quality control. When the lab sent them a small sample of the food, it ended up not being Canidae at all. Different size, shape, color and the content of the food was different. It had corn in it.... Like other said, it's likely it's just people looking for a quick buck. This country is disgustingly sue happy. I completely trust Canidae. If anyone I know that feeds it has an issue, maybe then I'll look into it more...

Have you tried petfooddirect.com? I'm not sure what their shipping prices are, but they do have an extensive selection of foods.
Do you have any local feed stores closer than 2 hours away? Many locally owned/operated stores are more than willing to special order specific products, including foods, for you if you ask them to. Also, if there are a few other dog people closer to you than the next store you could do a larger group order...that tends to defray the costs of shipping somewhat.

Don't know about Canidae, but I know Timberwolf Organics an equally quality food. If you buy it from http://www.timberwolforganics.com they will pay shipping if you order more than 15$ worth of food and you live in the lower 48 states.

Timberwolf Organics is far superior to Canidae.
I've done tons of research on canine nutrition, product comparison, etc. & no other brand even comes close.
You can go to their website TimberWolfOrganics.com & click on the tab "Where To Buy." From there, click on your country, then type in your zip code. Search within whichever mile radius you prefer (the farther the better for more results). Click "Go". Then it will pull up all the local distributors that sell their food. Where I live, Phoenix, AZ, there are pet food delivery services that sell this food & deliver for FREE.
I hope this helps. Good luck finding what you need. =)

I feed my dog Merrick brand food that is as good or better than Canidae.
They sell their food online and offer FREE SHIPPING, which I love. I think that this might be a better option for you than paying a high shipping cost for a comparable food.

I looked at a few places on-line to find a decent price on shipping. No luck.
Talk to your animal health store, or feed store and see if they can order it for you. I know mine is more than happy to special order foods me.

Unfortunately, Canidae does not sell their foods online. Another food of high quality (equal to Canidae) which I also recommend is Timberwolf Organics. You can order this food online from their website (www.timberwolforganics.com).
