We both have no idea what to get! Hes trying to say household cleaning tools! I was like umm no! I need really good ideas!!

Well for the bride the groom could get her a beautiful bracelet or necklace to wear at the wedding as the something new in the phrase, something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue! And for the groom you could get him a pocketwatch that is engraved with your names and wedding date. The reason to stay clear of items like house hold things, is you want to be able to treasure your gifts for the rest of our lives. And household items will not last forever.

im getting married in July 08' and i dont know what my fiance is getting me but im going the more sentimental route with what im getting him.
Weve been dating for three years and ive collected 3 shoe boxes of stuff that we've done together. i.e. movie tickets, concert tickets, brocheres from places we've gone, notes, etc. im going to make a scrapbook for him to show the past three years together so we can have a keepsake. its going to take a lot of time and effort but i think it will be meaningful. :)

I don't think it's necessary to give each other a gift on the wedding day. Isn't the wedding enuf?

a lot of men get watches for a wedding gift.. engraved if possible..
