I think it's depend of the motive of the woman. If she wear the bikini in the private fool it is ok. but if she wear bikini to seduce other it is not acceptable maybe depend also of the place that she wear a bikini.

That depends on how you define "sin." In the fourteenth century, it would have been a sin for a Christian woman to eat something delicious to excess, show her ankle, or to speak out in a church.
Fortunately, I do not believe in the concept of sin. I believe that morality and personal responsibility must be based on our modern age. Wearing a bikini is not wrong, I suppose, if a person feels comfortable doing so and it does not harm anyone else. Cheers!

Why exactly would that be sinful? Now knowing where to wear a bikini and where not to is something else? For instance, I wear a one piece when the cub scouts or church have a swimming party but out on the boat with hubby I wear a two piece.
Oh and just so you know No one causes another to sin. That's on you. Take responsibility and stop putting the blame on other people. That is for the answerer above me.
Jemthy: Thank you that is exactly what I am saying. I don't wear my two piece when I am with anyone but hubby and he can't lust over something he already has.
Oh yeah because when it's just me and him on a boat in the middle of the lake there are people to lust after me? Who would that be the merpeople? When we launch and dock the boat I have a cover up suit that covers like a one piece.

Is it sinful for a man to admire her uncovered butt? Causing someone to sin qualifies as sin.
Edit: Sorry, poor choice of words. Tempting someone is a sin. So if you wear one and ignorantly assume no one will lust after you, then I guess you get off sin free. This is yahoo answers and this is not my question and I do NOT want your advice (to the answerer below me).

No...now if she takes off her bikini and diddles the life guard... that may be sin full. Please remember MOST religious beliefs were put in place to keep society in "control".
You know what sin is... its spelled out... don't read anything into "attire" as sin.
