When Jesus healed the people came to Him and worshipped Him. He did not say "stop, I am not God." Instead He accepted their worship.

I think God out ranks Jesus in the Christian`s chain of command. But Jesus said and God agreed with him that the only way to reach God was through Jesus that is if you can believe the new testament. Of course the Holy Spirit has to fit in there some where. God and Jesus both agree that Jesus is the Son of God. Christians pray to God through Jesus and never [to my limited knowledge] directly to God. Also I don`t think they ever pray to Jesus and leave God out. They work The Holy Spirit in their prayers sometimes some how or another. A Christian minister could answer this question better than any body else But if you do not believe the New Testament then what he tells you will not have any backing.

not all sects of Christianity have faith that Jesus and God are the comparable or united beings. This became settled on the 1st Council of Nicaea. The Arian Christians (to not be perplexed with Hitler's Aryans) felt that Jesus became not begotten of God the father, what the Council decreed. Catholicism is a branch of Christianity. Protestants are the majority branch of Christianity interior the U. S., outnumbering Catholics. Baptists are considered a sect of Protestantism, as is Lutheranism, Presbyterian, Methodists, Episcopalians, and so on. Is there a majority of Christians working the rustic? Your question is slightly imprecise. almost all of our flesh pressers (community, state, and federal point) p.c. out as Christians, yet that doesn't mean that Christianity runs the rustic for the reason that we've an earthly government. Catholics are a minority at many state ranges of government and truthfully the federal government.

You offend Jesus and God, when you write their names in the lower case. If you ask a question, does it hurt you to show some respect.
True Christians know Jesus is the Son of God the Father, and is setting at His right Hand, on his Father's throne
Jesus Christ is our High priest, there to intercede for us.
WE are to worship God the Father only, we have only one God; But Jesus and God the Father are in unison.

Jesus and God are not the same person. Jesus told everybody, "The Father is greater than I am." He also said that nobody knows when the end will come, except for our Father. Jesus told the people to pray this way, "Our Father,..." There are lots of other examples. When Jesus said he and the Father are one, he meant of one mind. They both want the same thing for humanity and heaven. Anybody can be one with someone else, like when people get married the two become one, but that means united. "Uni" is Latin for one, as in uniform, unicycle, etc. God the Father is the only eternal being, and he created Jesus.

The Bible tells us Jesus is God specifically. In many places, actually. Is.9:6, Is. 40:9, John 1:1,14. John 20:28, II Cor. 5:19. Col. 1:15, Col. 2:9-10, I Tim. 3:16, Titus 2:13. That should cover it. Reading those over should keep you busy for awhile.

He claimed to be God and backed it up.
Joh 8:58 Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Before Abraham came to be, I AM!
Joh 14:9 Jesus said to him, Am I so long a time with you, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one seeing Me has seen the Father! And how do you say, Show us the Father?
Joh 10:30 I and the Father are One!
Rev 1:8 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, says the Lord, the One who is, and who was, and who is coming, the Almighty.
He accepted worship as God
Joh 20:27 Then He said to Thomas, Bring your finger here and see My hands, and bring your hand and thrust into My side, and be not unbelieving, but believing.
Joh 20:28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God!
Joh 20:29 Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, you have believed. Blessed are the ones not seeing, and believing.
He rose from the dead.

well, its hard to describe. jesus isn't god, and god isn't jesus. Its like, like an apple. you have the skin, the flesh, and the core. they're all different parts of the apple, but they still make up the apple right? there are actually 3 parts to the trinity (god, jesus, the father or father, son, holy spirit) its kind of confusing i'll admit, but thats what it says in the bible, so i believe it.

Jesus' is named by the Prophet Isaiah "Immanuel" which translates "God with us." Additionally, Jesus Himself said "I and the Father are one," in John 10:30.
He never commanded worship of Himself while on earth, because that was not His focus. He was focused on redeeming mankind and on serving others instead of having others serve Him.
He is a messenger, He brought the Good News to all people. What better messenger of Good News than God Himself?

Ryan, below, Jesus didn't say any such thing. Those words were put in his mouth several hundred years after his death. If one believes in a god who was and is involved in human affairs, then - I think - you are gullible enough to believe just about any bedtime story.
