If your talking about the AKC, you can't register this puppy. He is a mix breed

He cannot be registered for several reasons.
First of all, he is a mixed breed, only purebreds can be registered and then only if both the sire and dam were registered with the AKC and the same breed.

Don't worry about this, I am sure that he is a beautiful, delightful puppy - just take good care of him, as you seem to be, and enjoy him.

You can take him for obedience training when he is a bit older - you take the group lessons with your puppy, it is fun, socializes your dog and teaches you how to train him. Ask your vet for a good trainer who gives group lessons, or sign up at Petco when they schedule classes.

Have fun, love your pup and don't worry about whether he is registered or a purebred - some of the best dogs in the world have been mixed breeds, I am sure your dog is going to be one of them.

Licensing and registering are two different things.
Licensing will be done through your local municipality (city or county). See if there is an Animal Control facility in your local phone book. They will be able to tell you what you need to do where you live.
Registration is done through a kennel club and is for pure bred puppies having registered parents.
All registration does is say "these are my parents". (kinda like a birth certificate)

Are you talking about registering him with the state? Go to your city hall to pick up a form. Depending on the state there may be a penalty if the dog is not registered on time, so do this asap.

But if you are talking about AKC registration, you can't, he is a mutt.

Are you talking something like AKC registration?

You can't register him, he's a mixed breed, even if he was a purebred both parents would have to be registered.

Laws vary depending on where you live, what county etc. If you contact animal control, or even ask at his vet appt. they can tell you where to go for licensing etc. The area I live in a puppy doesn't have to be licensed until they're 6 months old.

The call is thoroughly as much as you! i might make bigger Max out to be an entire call particularly of a nickname, Maxwell, Maximillion, and so on. It supplies greater techniques for names besides as a greater reported call. Ex: Maximillion Ray Hart wish this permits!

Unfortunately, because he's a mixed breed, he cannot be registered.
