Babosa In English

The word babosa in Spanish comes from "baba" which means drool or slobber, so baboso (male) and babosa (female) mean someone or something that drools a lot or produces a drool-like substance (like a cactus). Drooling being a stereotype of a retarded person, is used as an insult to call someone stupid.

Babosa also means slug (the animal) by the way.

She's ugly, uh? - Está bien fea, ¿no?
She's so stupid. Slap her - Es tan estúpida. Abofetéala.

Well, baba means drool. So he's calling you a drooler, literally. But it's just another derogatory word used to say stupid or something like that.
