I am completely unsure of where I need to go in my career path. I have been out of work for a few months and my bills just keep on coming... I have only done sales in the past, but all that is out there are commission only jobs, well that doesn't pay the bills... How do I get my answers from God in this area?

Here is your answer...
"In ALL thy ways acknowledge Him and He SHALL direct thy path." Proverbs 3:6
" Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness and ALL these things shall be added unto you." Matthew 6:33

God knew you before you were born. (Jer.1:5) He knows the number of hairs on your head. (Matt. 10:30) He can see the big picture for you and has a plan for your life. He does want you to do your best but promises to help you.
I am going to pray for you....that God will open doors and help you to see them.....and close other doors, that are not the best for you. He wants you to have a happy and fulfilling life. (Jer. 29:11-13)

God gave you common sense and a mind to think with. He never told us not to use them. From the time we were born life has been one long series of experiments and learning.

Make some calls. Find out what jobs are available in the area. Tell yourself that the most humble job out there is better than unpaid bills. Your credit score matters. It's a matter of honor.

Well to pay the bills, find some kind of job. Pray that God reveal His vision to you. As you seek God, you will find Him. Study the Bible and be in a good church when they have services. a couple of scriptures for you:

Mt 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Hab 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Try to find a job - whatever job - that at least pays the bills. While you do that, work on what you really want. And don't forget to seek guidence from God.

Just setting there and waiting what God will do and want for you, will not work.

I heard a great quote on the radio (can't remember the
source but he is a billionaire)....he basically told his kids:
Find out what you are passionate about, then figure out
a way to get paid for doing it...
Good luck and one more small piece of advice, the more
people that you tell (you are looking for a job) the greater
chance you will have that someone will be looking for you!

Go to Church and leave the message to your Priest... and while waiting for results, do the same with other entities that have some few points with your career path.

Placed all your eggs in one basket? Go to WalMart or a Mall or Kentucky, some where and find you a job. God doesn't mind what you do, just let be legal work. You have to start off some where to get to where you are going. As you start He will guide you, just trust Him. Love, be bless.

Pray to God for direction and believe in your heart He is responding then put feet to your prayers and begin doing things on your own--it may not seem like God has done anything, but His steps will be going before you.

I don't know what kind of relationship you have with our Father but rest assured, He sees all and wants to help you on your path. Perhaps pray for guidance then wait a few days for a sign.

If you do not drop your expectation lower and find a job ,maybe even lower pay,you are going to be in trouble. In the bible,God said "God help those ,who help themselves."Actually you must find the job and then ask God for his blessing and guardian.God do not have a job for you at the moment,if not he will sent you to heaven.God is in heaven.
