I am redecorating my bedroom right now ... my new bed is a gold frost color, and my comforter is a chocolate brown with gold accents, a little shimmery. I have no clue what color/type of wood furniture (dresser, nightstands) to get to match the brown bedding and gold bed. Should I go light, like maple, or dark? I am stumped! Thanks for helping =)

You're right. That's a stumper.

You don't say what your style of furniture is, but if it's an old-world traditional style, very elegant, then I would go for ivory colored furniture, like this:

If you have a more transitional or modern style, then I would go with a dark brown, like this:

I would not go with any type of light wood, like maple or yellow pine. I think that it would clash with the gold.

Good luck.

Since you have a lot of sparkle going on, I would choose a dark wood to tone it down and add to its luster. A warm mahogany or cherry would give your choices a rich look.

I think dark would accent the room nice and would also compliment the gold frost color.
light stain and maple would be too bright.

Then make specific you have have been given multiple room to circulate around somewhat. next, lay in some champagne and luxuriate in. poll: Love swing (the pals whinge approximately that form of situation on the porch).
