"Do not arouse or awaken love intill it it so desires."

I keep opening the Bible randomly and that verse comes up. What is God trying to tell me?

It is clear. Don't force yourself to get in love. Let love happens to you.

Firstly, don't take verses out of context. Learn what the intentions of the writer were. Also, don't play 'Bible roulette'. Doing these two things can be dangerous.

No one here knows your situation so I don't think anyone could give you good advice. I suggest you continue reading God's Word and seek counsel from those around you who you know are TRUE Christians.

When you want to know the interpretation of a verse you need to give the source. What verse? For a correct interpretation to be given one must read what was said just prior and after the sentence stated.

It must not be from the King James.

It is the bride of Soloman telling non- married girls to stop being a tease!

That's basically what it is. See, when two people are married they have no restrictions towards each other sexually. But when somebody is a tease, she or he shows or gives a little bit of himself/herself to the other person, but not wholly, so that it doesn't satisfy. That person just drives hunger on. Makes sense?
But this would imply more to strangers, or ''friends'' since people that are in a committed relationship also have a way to each other, because they as one before God because of their mutual decision.

I don't think it is trying to tell you anything except that the binding may be broken in that somewhat midpoint of the Bible. :) Just kidding. This is one of three passages from Song of Solomon. Solomon is telling people not to wake up his love (his wife) before she wants to get up to let her sleep in. It is a book about love for a husband and wife and in a way, God loving His people.

Your desire to love God and to know his teachings in the bible is with doubts. So faith to God is needed complete faith to God. and of course faith to the words of God in the bible. If you read the bible, ask the help of God to let you understand it because the words of God in the bible are mostly written through parables to make it hard to understand without the help of God.. Ask favor to God. OK

It means not to read the Bible until the Bible starts opening itself.

Don't trust to random openings for guidance. I have heard people time and time again say that it steered them wrong. Instead, study the stories and wisdom and try to glean what principles are taught.

1) It does not say that..."untill it it" ??

2) give the book and verse so it can be taken in some context

3) it perhaps says don't rush love.
