Yorkies is a toy breed. They can range in size according to standard ( AKC for show) they are not to be over 7 pound.
You can check hoobly.com they usually go for $800 and up that is reasonable for a Yorkie however the smaller ones are often on the higher side in price.

OK I ignored you the first two times and your not going to get any better answers no matter how many times you post it.... Yorkies are TOY dogs therefore TOY SIZED.... You shouldnt be buying a dog "for your daughter" especially such a small breed unless you are prepared for all the work of a puppy. Which if your not even committed enough to do serious research your not committed enough to get a puppy. We all know whats going to happen your daughter is going to get tired of the dog your going to take the puppy to the pound and no matter what you tell yourself it's more than likely going to be put to sleep.
If you seriously want to find a dog try GOOGLING the Yorkie Club of America and read their breeder referral list, though I doubt any breeder is going to sell you one. So find your local puppymiller or backyard breeder and buy a dog so that it can be put down...

LOL, got too much slack from the teacup thing??
I have a Yorkie. He's purebred with papers and 6lbs but still amazingly tiny. But he's as healthy as a horse! I got him for $350 because he was the biggest male of two litters. I know there was a tiny female that they sold for $850 that is currently over 7 lbs. Just be careful and do your research and you will eventually find a great healthy addition to your family.
Spread the word. Tell everyone you know what you are looking for. That's how I found my pup. I told my mom and she asked around. Turned out her attorney raises them. Who knew? I looked in all of the usual places and then found the best thing. I got to meet the pup's parents and see the situation the pup was raised in. And I could go visit my pup until I got to bring him home. It was a great experience!

OMG people can be sooo rude. Anyhoo I have a yorkie that weighs maybe 3 pounds. I gave 350.00 for him. I got him from a breeder in Wingo Kentucky. he is a healthy little man. I am not sure if they ship but it would be worth a shot. You can get the number online just go to the paducah sun.com and click on pets. Good Luck

ALL Yorkies are "toy sized" - they're a Toy breed, and they only come in one size.
Unless you're still looking for the designer "teacup yorkie" but don't want to hear the truth about them being sickly runts?

Check with the vets in your area. Ask for the names of some local reputable yorkie breeders. The vets know the breeds and know their dogs. Hope you find one.
