I just purchased a big round mirror from Pier One and I need to find something to go on each side of the mirror.I hung it over the fireplace and it's just beautiful but a little plain. Please help!

Rather than hanging something on either side which can look a little affected, why don't you look at putting something on your mantle on each side that will add the drama. Choose something taller on one side than the other and other things on the mantle that pull it all together. Be adventurous.

I agree with dawn try putting tall vases or something on you mantel to balance, if that doesn't look good get some sconces that compliment the mirror.

put a tall fancy candle on each side on top of the fireplace.
