My female cousin (muslim) just married with catholic male in his church (US, wilmington)

I saw the wedding process, event the priest re-cite a Quran verses about the wedding, I was really surprise.

And... the priest put a respect to my cousin very well, all his priest use the word, "G-d the creator of the universe", G-d the most mercifull, ... and etc and Do not use Jesus name!

Of course! Here's some info and I've included a link:

"Any marriage involving a Catholic is subject to Church norms known as "canon law." Catholics are obliged to marry in the Catholic Church, following the marriage rite of the Catholic Church. Their exchange of vows must be witnessed by either a priest or deacon and two other witnesses. A Catholic can receive permission to marry a non-Catholic and they may be married in the church of the non-Catholic party, but if their exchange of vows will be witnessed by a minister of that denomination, the Catholic must seek a written dispensation from the local Catholic Bishop. "

So just contact your parish.

Yes.

Catholics are allowed to marry just about anyone even Muslims.

Mixed marriage have to get permission from the bishop because the Church recognizes the tremendous challenge the couple will have ahead of them.

This assumes that this happens in a country that has freedom of religion. This would be illegal in a country ruled by Sharia (Islamic Law).

With love in Christ.

A Catholic can marry anybody he wants in the Catholic church as long as that person converts to Catholicism.

Muslim women are expected to marry only Muslim men. I am surprised her family allowed her to marry a Catholic man.

Yes, but the question is can a female Muslim marry someone out of her faith?

No, not allowed.

the process would be conversion of the female, baptism and confirmation - then marriage.

Marriage to a Catholic is a Sacrament.

Well, they'd be unequally yoked and disobeying God, but if they want too, its perfectly legal I guess.
