Albinism (from Latin albus; extended etymology), more technically hypomelanism or hypomelanosis, is a form of hypopigmentary congenital disorder, characterized by a lack of melanin pigment in the eyes, skin and hair (or more rarely the eyes alone). Albinism results from inheritance of recessive genes. The condition is known to affect mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. While the most common term for an organism affected by albinism is "albino" (noun and adjective), the word is sometimes used in a derogatory way towards people; more neutral terms are "albinistic" (adjective) and "person with albinism" (noun). Additional clinical adjectives sometimes used to refer to animals are "albinoid" and "albinic

why are people born hermaphrodites? Why are some people still born with a tail? Why are some people born with only one eye?
Just blame the mother and father. They either carry a messed up gene, or they got exposed to some nasty radioactivity or drugs that gave them messed up genes. Sometimes, the gene change can prove to be an advantage, but the chances of it being an advantage are like playing the lottery.

If their parents and family are Black, an albino person is Black. If the parents are white, then theyre white. Black albino people look like Black people with the pale skin, hair and eyes, but you can tell they are ethnically Black.

It's like any other condition that people have. The word "albinism" refers to a group of inherited conditions. People with albinism have little or no pigment in their eyes, skin, or hair. They have inherited genes that do not make the usual amounts of a pigment called melanin. http://albinism.org/publications/what_is_albinism.html

It's just a genetic mutation. It's a fluke. The same reason some people have dwarfism.

It's a genetic condition, I believe. Either a genetic defect or a genetic variation, something like that.
