Well...anyone have any comments on this...I just love to hear peoples comments. :D. Free Press..a wonderful thing.

Well...the US military tested a 30,000 pound bomb in New Mexico last Spring , and , it was "completely effective".

The US Air Force also asked for 1.0 million or so so they can modify B2 bombers with Bomb racks that can hold the 30,000 pound beast.

For Iran..or no?

Well..I do agree about getting the "first strike" , after all , we don't want to be stricken.

Then again...think of what will happen...to Europe...to Us.

Seeing as a warhead would have probable proof to come to one of the coasts...maybe the East Coast...that makes me even more scared.

There are several 'red lines' in the development of an operational nuke. The nearest one, developing the enriched weapons grade uranium or plutonium is nearing, probably within the next 4-6 months. The engineering of the trigger mechanism...another year and engineering the delivery device another year, which puts us in the 2011-2012 area for final completion. A bombing at the 'choke-points' (such as the Natanz enrichment facility for example) can be done now.

US Bombing in Korea, Vietnam, and now Iraq have brought about ameliorations, yet no longer unavoidably for the better. very last time we messed with Iran, the Shah grew to develop right into a despot for decades--I have a nasty feeling, in accordance to our song list, that this time we'd want to installation someone worse. perchance yet another non secular chief? If this us of a changed into dumb sufficient to bomb Iran, we'd want to absolutely be bombed in our us of a--no longer right now, yet absolutely later. There might want to be no preventing Iraqi or Iranians after bombing and killing 1000's in both international locations. we'd want to be the most excellent stress to get those 2 international locations united, antagonistic to us, if we've not already! yet individuals are not properly understand for intelligence or lengthy-time period planning. we do not act in accordance to info, yet on thoughts and rhetoric.

I would say soon. The attack will have to be initiated at night, obviously. Generally the military plans for these things between 115am to 230am, as for some reason the brain, no matter how much sleep you got, is at its slowest. Since it will be at night, it will have to be in the late fall to early spring, as the nights are longer, give bombing runs increased coverage. And finally, it would have to be before the re-election, cause otherwise it won't happen.

It's for something.

Russia has been shadily aligning with Iran, and there is no doubt that China would side with them. North Korea too.

Russia could literally shut down Europe, they control 95% of all natural gas that goes into Europe, and with winter coming up, I hope Bush doesn't pull a fast one and provoke World War 3.

With the resolution that went through Congress that named the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard a terrorist group, the drumbeats of war are getting louder in Washington.

Scary, scary stuff.

Now more than ever, your vote counts.

I think the bomb testing is more of a show of force than preparation for war. If we wanted to develop a good weapon and use it we would keep it secret... as secret as you can keep a 30,000 lb bomb. If we wanted to develop a good weapon to scare them we'd test it out in the open and report it's success.

Looking at my day planner, we can't possibly go to war before January 8, 2008.

I'd be funny if they started a war on that day but sad.

We're already in WWIII, Al Q declared it several years ago. Get with the program and come on in for the big win.

It always makes me laugh to see these PC though guys
talking about the war!
JAY, kill them, nuke them and crap like that!

And they're the one who'll cry mommy and wet their pans
when it happens.
Just PC tough guys!!

It's a simple fact that, if they're worthy of their word and had
guts, they would be in Iraq and fight the war they believe in!!

Just bunch of babies affected by video games and war movies!!

I hope we bomb them before they bomb us. But I know you anti-war types would rather appease and compromise with terrorists, or maybe you would rather them bomb the USA first.
