sony has announced that they are releasing a new ps2 model in japan and europe-- does anyone lnow if this new remodeled ps2 will be available in the us? also will the ps2 drop to $99 anytime soon?

I got an email from the Playstation Underground about a new Limited Edition White PS2 with the game Sing Star included. The White PS2 will cost $149 dollars.
I'm not sure if the price on the PS2 will drop anymore. I really think that the PS2 will remain at the $129 price point and wont drop anymore.

yup price will keep dropping until it is eventually phased out.... and yes it will be available in the US soon...
