We dropped the atomic bomb which killed innocent people who were doing nothing wrong.
How would you feel if all your family was killed by a bomb for no reason.

You noobs dont understand anything, the Japanese soldiers and people for the war deserved to get killed. But the people againtst it living in Hiroshima and Nagasaki didnt deserve to die even if it could have prevented people from dying.

You obviously have no idea what you are ranting on about.
By the time the bombs were dropped the entire Japanese civil population were required to be in Japanese Self Defence Militias, and were actively receiving training in military tactics with heavy emphasis on suicide attacks against the Allied Forces should they attempt to land.
Besides that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were two prime centers of Japanese War production.
The reason was quite clear, the Japanese were offered the chance, not once but twice to make an unconditional surrender which they refused, and remember they started the War in South East Asia.

There were tactical reasons those locations were selected. I was stationed in Sasebo, Japan, which was initially suppose to get hit, but the cloud cover pushed them to secondary target of Nagasaki...which sucks, cause I would have preferred not to be stationed in Sasebo...:)
Wouldn't call it terrorism. I would call it war. Is there a difference, nope. Some like to think so, so i draw a distinction to make them happy. Lets see though. The japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. Though it was military installation, it was an unprovoked attack. They bombed China and Korea...killing millions of innocent lives. They even floated bombs over to the US on weather ballons, which didn't really do much but cause lots and lots of fires...
So, in essence, they deserved it. Besides, it prevented the invasion of the mainland...which saved millions of US service men and possibly more Japanesse than were lost with the two bombs.

The Japanese people SUPPORTED the war... they had invaded Korea, China, the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Burma, AND attacked the USA.
Yes, innocent people were killed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki (which I've visited)... BUT, as a NATION, Japan deserved it. BOTH cities were also the site of miltary bases and industry.
It also saved millions of Japanese as well as an estimated 500K ally soldiers and sailors.
I Pray we never have to use an atomic-weapon again...
JUST FYI, it was during a DECLARED war... therefore it CAN'T be deemed a "terrorist act"

There is a subtle difference here you fail to appreciate. What makes an act a "terrorist" act is not the weapon......it is not the status of the victims (......innocent people are always victims during a war).....what makes an act a terrorist attack is the nature of the target....i.e. is it a legitimate target of military value......a bomber who passes up a military base to attack a bus filled with innocent women and children is a "terrorist" by the nature of his act......a nation who destroys a city involved in producing and shipping weapons and supplies used in a war......whether it is done with one bomb or a thousand bombs .....is NOT an "terrorist" nation.
Both Hiroshima and Nagasaki were LEGITIMATE military targets.......
Sadly in our long history....America has committed terrorist acts......but the atomic bomb was NOT one of them.....
I suggest you do more research and less emotional ranting

You have got to be kidding.
Japanese general population was armed and told to fight to the death. 1000s of kamikaze's bombarding Allied Naval forces. It took 2 atomic bombs on military manufacturing cities before the Japanese surrendered. (they could have surrendered after 1 bomb but it took 2, once again illustrates how serious the Japanese were to fight to the death, every man, woman and child) Estimates had several million dead on both sides if there was a mainland assult. 2 atomic bombs saved lives on both sides.
There were no smart bombs during WWII. Conventional fire bombing cities created the same level of destruction all over Europe. Besides who started the war?

The Japanese Empire EARNED the right to have their people incenerated in their own homes with the atrocities they commited. They did not hesitate to bomb cities in China and Burma, or use prisoners to protect military equipment and installations, not to mention the death camps where prisoners were worked to death for Japanese military expansion. Dishonor and treaty violations were common for Imperial Japan.
As to familly being killed or bombed for no reason, try doing a Google search for Pearl Harbor!
PS. The fact that no one seems to be supporting your argument might be a clue!

I think the Japanese invasion and occupation of the many countries in Asia from 1931 - 1945 resulted in the deaths of far more millions of people than those that died at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Why are you not concerned for those people?

The Japanese attacked America, we didn't attack them. As for the statement of for no reason, that was the reason. I did have family killed by a bomb, a flying one on 9/11. So you can take your liberal, blame America first, attitude, out of here because nobody in this section really gives a damn

Perhaps you should educate yourself to the events leading to the dropping of the bombs and the circumstances surrounding the events before making such a silly comment. It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. Go read a history book covering the years 1939 to 1945.
