Passover?
EDIT: Answer to another answer's question; I celebrate Thanksgiving because I am a citizen of the USA, douchewad.
I am capable of gratitude, though not at some white guys robbing native graves and stealing from native peoples. I'm just frick'n thankful to be here on this soil.

The Celebrations are not originally pagan. Our early Church Father's chose to place various Christian Holy Days on the same day as pagan Holy Days to help them embrace Christianity. Weather it was a wise choice or not could be up for debate, but the Celebrations are Christian, not pagan.

No. ALL Christian holidays are imitations of pagan ones. They don't have any that are truly their own.
They did this in an attempt to wipe out Paganism. Didn't work, either.

Why does it matter if the Christian belief used a pagan ritual to teach the pagan's about Jesus and help them understand it? That doesn't mean that these celebrations are pagan.

Christians did not live on an island. Many cultures were around them. So it is only natural that they picked up a little something from their neighbors. That is a part of living in a community. Name one thing that you do, that isn't borrowed from another culture or belief?

All of the christian holiday's and there ritual tools are originally pagan, because Christianity was formed from the blood and bones of the pagan. Take thanksgiving it's a ritual killing to commemorate the day.
