Its a tell if you do, that your afraid of intimacy thats why you choose unatainable women. Send thy self to the campus health center and get some counseling. Think of girls as cars, should you not drive because of that jag you desire so much its ruined you for any other cars? Oh, Ho! NO. Theres a car for everyone, and others are fun too. Besides life is short---live,drive hard.

Of course you can. BUT that would be such a big struggle. You would have to find ways to get her interested. It would be so much easier to love someone who loves you too.

The time you waste on that, you could use to find the girl of your dreams. It sounds irrational to pull away from someone you love, but believe me it is logical if she will not love you back.
