Height minimum is 58". My friend just retired from the Navy and she was barley 5 feet. There is also a weight minimum but not sure what it is for your height. I'm sure you could google it(?).

Also, there's not a waiting list to get in! Jeez! If the job you're interested in (admin.) is undermanned, you're in asap. If the job is overmanned, you can still swear in and contract for that position but bootcamp may be up to 6-8 months away. You'd be put on DEP (delayed entry).

The Navy height requirements for aviators are 62"-77" for pilots and 60"-78" for NFO's.

Conversion: 12" = 1 foot

Hopefully I've helped :(

No, but you might have a reduced chance of joining certain parts of the navy which require many rigorous physical attributes that you may never have. :'(

I'm not sure about the Navy but I think the marines don't have a height requirement because of spec. ops missions(being small really helps) take it from a sniper.

I don't think so but be warned, I've talked to a number of Navy recruiters and they have told me that there is a waiting list to join the Navy. If you're going to join, I suggest you do it soon and don't be put off by the long wait.
