I just bought a 2006 ford fusion...?

are they pre wired for a keyless entry remote or how does this work...

If you have not yet taken delivery, then you probably haven't seen the keys yet. All the 2006-7-8 Fusions have the computer chip, key, & remote entry fob all in one piece.

If you want to add a "keyless entry" keypad as well, your local ford dealer can sell you a kit.
It is very easy to install & program the keypad yourself.
Or possibly your salesperson can do it for you. (I've installed them plenty of times)
The cost of those kits shouldn't run any more than $200.
