I would like to study Islam and concentrate on the role of women in Islam. Are there any Islamic colleges in America besides Cordoba University? I would like to study there, but they were raided by the FBI a few years back.

Also, I wouldn't mind going to other countries, but keep in mind that I am a woman (regarding Middle Eastern countries). I really really want to study Islam, but I haven't found the right school and program and I will graduate next year.

Thanks your help!

P.S. I have done my own research, but I would like to hear other people's recommendations.

Their are several schools in the USA bc this is what I started out doing mine on as well but I was going to an Islamic university. Just google it and you will find all kinds. Do you know Arabic? Bc I not sure if they offer much without knowing Arabic and if you do not you will have several hard Arabic courses since Islam is in Arabic.
