From Greek to English in the NT the following:

John 3:16 because of the verb is a continuing tense.

Luke 22:19 because the Greek word for what is often translated as remembrance actually is "anamnesis" which suggests a miracle of making the past and/or future present.

Surely you know the scripture that is read at nearly every religious play. I'm asking you to think about what it says. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (King James Version) We know this is talking about Jesus' birth. Notice the names it calls him "The mighty God" "The everlasting Father" How can you explain this away? Is this scripture wrong? It clearly says he is named God & Father. Does this scripture lie? Read the book fo John chapter 1:1 - 14 We know God created the heavens and the earth. John says he is the Word that he is and was God. All things were made by him. John 1:14 says the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. This is talking about Jesus. Read John chapter 14 this shows Jesus as the Holy Ghost. We know through the scriptures in the other gospels, Mary was concieved by the Holy Ghost. This is how Jesus is the Son of God. I'll share with you the scripture that helped me. Because I thought just like you do at one time. I was studying the book of Revelation trying to find what the Bible said about the last days. When all the sudden from a place I was not expecting, because I was not looking for this. Revelation 1 : 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Notice what the Lord said ( if you have a red letter bible this will be red) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending. I never could see Jesus before, till he was born. Thats where I thought he began. At his birth. Here Jesus said he was the "beginning". He did not say that he began just a few years before. He did not say I was created in the beginning. He said he was the beginning. How could anyone but the creator be the beginning. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. This shows us since Jesus was the beginning and Genesis said God created in the beginning. John said all things were made by him that were made. Jesus is God because he is the creator. And Jesus also said it his self " I and my Father are one."

Remember the Sabbath day to keep it Holy.
Jesus said God made the sabbath for man, not man for the sabbath.........I think it's the most misunderstood scripture because a lot of clergy and church people will pound you for missing church even if your kids were sick or whatever was going on because they really think God is MAD if you don't show up or he isn't going to bless you........that is a Pharisee spirit talking and it's a lie that's been going on for generations. God wanted us to rest because he LOVES us and wants us to get rest and be okay.............doctrines of men take this loving concern and turn it into a circus ...I hate that.

During the discourse after the Last Supper, in the Gospel of John, Jesus tells his followers that if they love him and keep his commands he will reveal himself to them. People do not understand that this is true on every level.

We do not have to wait to see Jesus. We long to see his face but, it is us that stays away from him---he longs to see us face to face even more than we do him.
