Many people still fly their flags. It was for respect on 9/11 and for a while afterward. We should fly our flags no matter what the reason. We are americans, and if this country provides you with a home, then have some respect, and fly a flag. We need to make this country what it used to be. We take freedom for granted, and we need to realize that other people don't have what we have.

Last 4th of July, true story I swear, I was driving down my street, on my way the the capital for a fireworks show, I looked at the houses, not one American Flag was flying. The only house with an American Flag, was the house of a Chinese family. They recently came here and only two could speak proper english. I wanted to thank them. But I was in too much of a hurry. At parades, when the flag comes by, you stand in respect. Most people don't stand anymore. The only ones that stand, are the veterans that gave life and limb to protect our rights. The ones who lost friends, lost arms, legs, the ability to live a normal life. And they make an attempt to stand. But everybody else, no. We all take freedom for granted. And the only way to gain patriots again, is to get into the next big war.

I consider anti-war protesters americans, but unpatriotic Americans. People need to wake up, and know, that freedom isn't free. Its comes with a price. So far, that price, has been over 2 million since the beggining of this country. See, the reason no one flys a flag anymore, is because they have lived with being free all their life, and they expect too, for the rest of their life. God help them when the next big one happens.

I have been flying a flag in front of my house since November 11, 1985. That's the day I moved in. But, then again, I'm not a member of the "Petey Patriot Platoon".

I think what the problem is right now is the war. Typically flags are in short supply in war times. I don't think as many ppl have forgotten as you may think. I sure haven't. I hope that makes you feel better.

Dont worry, some of us still have those flags. And some of us have not so easily forgotten in the comforts of our society.
God Bless America, and may we not let Him down.

Mine is hanging on my bedroom wall out of the weather. With the humidity in my area they rot if you leave them outside for a long time.

Charles my boy, you have just awakened to the short memory of the American people. Already, it's unfashionable to be patriotic, thanks to the liberals and the liberal Congress.

I would be anxious to have some silly dweeb approach me about some of the messages on my vehicle. this would give me the privilege and satisfaction of booting one of these disgusting punks so hard, that we would both need to go to the hospital, just to remove my boot from his rectum.

We have our American Flag flying. In fact, we have it properly lighted as well.
